Benjamin
‘Ben’ Reiley
Growing up with a normal, middle class family Ben
attended Pleasentview High, where he befriended Juliet
Layton-Smith. Upon arriving at SSU he was quick to
gather a group of friends, and became the glue holding
them all together. Ben is seen as everyone’s friend, and
cannot stand arguments and petty fights that disrupt the
group dynamic. He is a shoulder to cry on for anyone who
should need it. Despite seeing himself as a leader
figure Ben is quick to hide his own personal life, by
hiding things he feels may cause a problems amongst the
other six.

Carlie Blythe
Carlie was raised in Bluewater Village. Her parents
owned a toy shop, but with her mother constantly busy
with the shop, and her father dealing with the economic
side of it she received little attention from her
parents. Arriving at University she befriended Sarah and
began to spend her time with the other six. She later
met Harry Freeman, who was at that point a junior, while
she was a sophomore. They were later engaged and
planning the wedding of a life time, despite having a
tight budget. Carlie sees herself as a friend to
everyone and an excellent judge of character. However as
she has learnt in the past, sometimes first impressions
can be very wrong.

Dale Ryan
Even from a young age Dale was never very sociable. His
main aims were to achieve good grades, get a good job,
and have a good life. However adulthood caught up with
him, and after meeting Jason and Ben he began to realise
there was more to life than studying and books, however
as much as he tried, his shyness always lead him away
from socialising and back to his studies. His jealousy
of Jason and his countless string of girlfriends already
caused several disputes and an increasing friction
between the two. All the ups and downs have caused Dale
to learn that he can’t learn friendship from a book.
Jason
Greene
Jason had the perfect childhood, until he discovered his
father’s affair at the age of fifteen. He felt
responsible for the break up of his parent’s marriage
and stopped being the perfect son they adored. He had
always been popular with the opposite sex, but finally
decided to embrace it, instead of shy away. It had
become a lifestyle for him and but when he enrolled at
SSU Jason finally found a group of friend he could rely
on. He had been in a group of friends before but the
friendship between him and Ben was new. While still
seeing many different women and never getting committed
Jason’s friendships became the most important things.
However Jason doesn’t appreciate his attitude can get
him into very messy situations which are sometimes
possible to avoid.
Juliet
Layton-Smith
Juliet was born into a rich family, and her
upbringing was more than luxurious. From youth she and
Ben were close friends, and remained so through
university. A self confesses daddy’s girl, Juliet holds
her family close. She has a spoilt side, but she is more
mature and sensible than people first expect. Despite
being close to her parents she and her younger spoilt
sister Joanna don’t get along, but nonetheless she will
always help out her family or friends when they are in
need, something that is either seen as a great attribute
or a great weakness.
Lisa
Drake
Brought up her mother only she was always taught to live
life to the fullest and enjoy her youth while she still
could. She kept this attitude with her all her life, and
is living life while she is young. She was a roommate of
both Sarah and Juliet in university, and earned her
friendship with the others through there. She enjoys
nothing more than to have fun with her friend’s ether
that is on a night out or a night in. She fears
responsibility, finding maintaining her poodle FiFi a
challenge enough, but she doesn’t realise responsibility
can be forced onto you without choice.
Sarah
Johnson
As a young girl Sarah always thought that the good
things would happen to her without fail, and that she
had to have her happy ending. Through school she longed
to find her high school sweetheart, but failed. Arriving
at SSU she made friends with Juliet, who introduced her
to Ben. It was love at first sight, and Sarah believed
she had found her Mr Right, but she later learnt that
bigger things stood in her path. One lesson she has
learnt is that her dreams won’t be easy to catch, but
she doesn’t realise that the future is unpredictable,
and you never know what to expect. |
